Responsibilities [About the Role]
We are seeking a highly skilled Indonesian language expert to help train, evaluate, and improve advanced AI language models. You will use your linguistic knowledge and cultural understanding to enhance AI performance in Indonesian comprehension, translation, writing, and reasoning tasks.
This position is ideal for linguists, translators, editors, teachers, writers, or professionals with strong Indonesian proficiency and excellent written English.
[What You’ll Do] – Core Responsibilities
• Evaluate AI-generated Indonesian text for accuracy, fluency, grammar, style, and cultural appropriateness.
• Create and review Indonesian-language tasks such as translations, paraphrases, rewrites, summaries, and dialogues.
• Identify linguistic errors, tone issues, logical inconsistencies, and cultural inaccuracies.
• Produce high-quality reference answers, scoring rubrics, and explanations.
• Annotate Indonesian text for structure, meaning, and context.
• Generate high-quality Indonesian content across various registers.
• Provide clear, detailed feedback to refine AI model performance.
Qualifications • Native or near-native proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).
• Fluent written English (C1+).
• Bachelor’s degree in Indonesian Language, Linguistics, Translation, Education, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
– Professional translation or interpretation (ID ↔ EN)
– Editing or writing Indonesian content
– Indonesian language teaching or curriculum development
– Content creation, localization, or communication
• Strong linguistic attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to follow guidelines and maintain accuracy across tasks.
